Joel Long
A native of North Carolina, Joel holds a Master of Divinity degree from Columbia Theological Seminary PC(USA), Decatur, GA. Following fulltime pastorates for 40 years, he then felt called into Transitional/Interim Ministry and attended Montreat Conference Center for Levels 1 & 2 Certified Transitional Specialist training. Serving 8 Interims since 2009, Joel most recently retired as Transitional Pastor of Georgetown Presbyterian Church. He is now serving as Staff Associate for New Harmony Presbytery Committee on Ministry.
Joel is married to Ann Long, Interim Music Director at Trinity. He enjoys singing in the Trinity Choir, playing golf as time allows, and serving as liaison to the Deacons for pastoral care for the Trinity congregation.
